Finishing the NEW CD

Dave at the controls earlier tonight for some vocal additions by Ed. The tracks to Silent Voices, Drowning, and Bring You Down are all now done. Next, we'll mix them and the CD will be done.

Half Circle Drive has a plan for 2011 that is quickly taking shape. Backed by a powerfully melodic new release, Beneath the Sorrow, the band is exploring new live show possiblities both local and national, while expanding the ways in which to present their music.

After more than a year of playing shows around the tri-state area while writing songs continuously, the band began recording last summer in an attempt to outdo their performance on Freezing, their previous full length release. After several months of recording, mixing, live testing, rerecording, remixing, photoshoots, and artwork conception, Beneath the Sorrow is here.

Having seen their last CD released in various formats, the band is hoping to present their new music in many different areas. HCD had a song featured in an Iphone app ("20 Miles Away" was the theme to the See it Golf 2010 app) and hopes to continue seeking similar placements for their newest tracks.

The 2011 release of BTS was launched by the single "With You," and with mainstream rock tracks like "Bring You Down" and "Drowning" appearing alongside the melodic emotion of "Fade Away" and "Wish I Was," the band should have no trouble appealing to a diverse audience.

Beneath the Sorrow is only the start of a year with many goals. Half Circle Drive will continue to increase their following with new promotional ideas, live shows, radio placements, a strong online video presence, and anything else they wrap their minds around. The drive will not fade.

With 5 newly written, unheard songs, 2011 may end as it began - with new HCD music.
